Is there a need to create educational material within the business improvement environment ?

Are the majority of companies and governments department Building Real Financial Knowledge & Improving Business Acumen?
I think not…..
Leadership Development comes, goes and stays, now we hear talk of Business Improvement & Knowledge Transfer. But are we really removing Cross Departmental barriers ?
Companies try Accelerated Training & People Development, but they really just Monitoring and Assessing.
They all to often, get in process enhancement & systems mapping & training, this comes as modular designs & developed for inter departments.
Is it all really Tactile, Strategic and or Hands and does it give participants a clear view of the Business or Industry ?
Do we really allow people to evaluate, analysis & make decisions ?
Leading, Communicating & Negotiation training is being done, therefore should we not have already Improved Financial Acumen &  our Peoples Performance or at least an awareness should have been created.
Team Building & Functionality Training are important,
But what are these Industries doing ?
